Next week I will be in Lyon at the EU ICT conference . My presentation revolves about next steps of web2.0 tools in government. I focus on casual participants, the concept I already wrote about .
Here is my presentation. Thanks to the usual great interviews of Jon Udell, I came across the metaphor of Lisa and Bart Simpson as type of users we should address in designing e-gov tools.
Should you be around in Lyon, happy to meet up – drop me an email

You lost me on Lisa and Bart, or is that to indicate egov concepts that kids can understand?

You are totally right, sorry. Sometimes blog entries are too cryptic!!!
I mean we need tools for both the politically engaged (Lisa) and the non engaged (Bart).
In the interview (http://itc.conversationsnetwork.org/shows/detail3659.html) they say that their visualization tools developed for the New York Times they aim at involving both. For examples, follow the links on the webpage above.
Thanks for noticing!
